U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO)
- GPO is part of the legislative branch of the Federal Government. The
Public Printer, who serves as GPO’s chief officer, is nominated by the

Defense
Environmental Network & Information eXchange - Designed to provide
DoD personnel in the environmental security arena with timely access to
legislative, compliance, restoration, cleanup, safety & occupational health,

Department of the Navy Environmental
Program - Manages the environmental technology, conservation,
compliance, cleanup, and pollution prevention, programs for the Services of the
Department of the Navy.
Environmental
Security Technology Certification Program (ESTCP) - A corporate
Department of Defense (DoD) program that promotes innovative, cost-effective
environmental technologies through demonstration and validation at DoD
sites.
National
Defense Center for Environmental Excellence (NDCEE) - A national
leadership organization to address high priority environmental problems for the
Department of Defense (DOD), other government organizations, and the industrial
community.
Naval
Facilities Engineering Service Center - The Navy's center for
specialized facilities engineering and technology.
Strategic
Environmental Research and Development Program (SERDP) - The Department
of Defenses (DoD) corporate environmental R&D program focuses on cleanup,
compliance, conservation, and pollution prevention technologies. Web site
contains technology transfer and information exchange, SERDP thrust areas, SERDP
symposium presentations, abstracts, and quarterly newsletters.

Summary Reports (ITSRs) - Designed to
provide potential users with the information they need to quickly determine
if a technology would apply to a particular environmental management
problem. They include a description of the technology, applicable problem
areas, and cost and performance data.
Office of Environmental Management (EM)
- Information on environmental restoration, waste management,
technology development, facility transition and management within the U.S.
Department of Energy.
Office of Scientific and Technical
Information (OSTI) - Provides access to a
wealth of energy, science, and technology research and development (R&D)
information from the Manhattan Project to the present.
Subsurface Contaminants Focus Area
(SCFA) - Provides access to the work of this focus area.

USGS's Toxic Substances Hydrology
Program - Provides unbiased earth science information on the

USGS's Water Resources of the United
States - Lists water quality data, local websites for water programs
and data contacts by state, publications and products, also includes the
National Water Quality Assessment Program (NAWQA) information.

Ombudsman Environmental Homepage - Helping small business access

The U.S. EPA Office of
Research and Development (ORD) homepage. The EPA ORD is the
principal scientific and research arm of the Environmental Protection
Agency. ORD conducts research and fosters the use of science and technology
in fulfilling EPA's mission. ORD is organized into three national
laboratories and two national centers located in a dozen facilities around
the country and in Washington, DC.
Brownfields Economic
Development Initiative - Outlines EPAs activities to help States and
communities implement the benefits of the Brownfields Initiative in economic
development to prevent, assess, safely clean up, and sustainably reuse
brownfields.
The Hazardous Waste Clean-up Information
Web Site (CLU-IN) - Provides information about innovative treatment
technologies to the hazardous waste remediation community. Desribes
programs, organizations, and publications for federal and state personnel,
consulting engineers, technology developers and vendors, remediation
contractors, researchers, community groups, and individual citizens. The
site was developed by the U.S. EPA, Technology Innovation Office.
Superfund Innovative Technology
Evaluation (SITE) Program - This web page highlights remediation
technologies ready for commercialization as tested at hazardous waste sites
through the SITE program, in cooperation with the EPA.
